Additional Info
St. Clement of Rome Mission is a Russian Orthodox mission parish based in Rome, Georgia. Under the omophorion of Metropolitan Nicholas, 1st heirarch of the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), the mission is dedicated first to prayer and second to learning how to live an Orthodox Christian life in the community of the faithful.
St. Clement of Rome Mission is a traditional Eastern Orthodox Christian parish serving Rome and Floyd County in Northwest Georgia. The mission offers the ancient Orthodox divine services—including Saturday All-Night Vigil and Sunday Divine Liturgy—conducted in English. With a strong emphasis on prayer, the study of the Holy Scriptures, and the writings of the Holy Fathers as essential guides to salvation and Christian perfection, the parish seeks to foster genuine spiritual life and authentic Orthodox practice within the local community.
Recently established in a public facility (a former community food pantry transfigured into a place of worship), the mission actively serves Rome through worship, community outreach, and collaboration with local organizations and residents. All are welcome to visit, inquire, or join in the life of the Church.
