Meeting the needs of young people in our community by bringing out the Best in our Kids. The Rome Noon Optimist Club conducts positive service projects in our immediate community aimed at providing a helping hand to our youth. By believing in our young people and empowering them to be the best that they can be to make this a better world. Programs and Projects sponsored by the Rome Noon Optimist Club: 1. Student of the month. 2. Student of the semester. 3. Student of the Year. 4. College Scholarship Program. 5. Essay Contest. 6. Oratorical Contest. 7. Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. 8. Junior Optimist Clubs. 9. Terrific Kid Program. 10. Respect for Law Program. 11. Front Line First Responders Program. The Club helps other Non-Profit organizations by volunteering our skills and help in their efforts.
