The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Georgia is seeking Youth Development Professional staff members for several of our Boys & Girls Clubs to contribute to the Club wide objectives of helping youth reach their full potential in academic success, good character & leadership, health & well-being, and life & workforce readiness. Applicants will be required to ensure safety, provide adequate supervision, maintain structure for club members within assigned program area, facilitate targeted programs, maintain accurate data, and participate in field trips and other club duties as deemed necessary.

Applicants may apply to work in West Rome, South Rome, or Cedartown, and must enjoy working with youth of all ages (4-18) and diverse backgrounds, be attentive to detail, use sound judgment, and possess a clean criminal background and drug screen. This is a permanent 15 - 20 hour per week position during the school year, approximately 2:00am-6:00pm (depending upon individual work schedule). Compensation is based on qualifications but usually ranges from $10.00 - $12.00 per hour. This position also offers access to benefits including paid federal holidays and a savings/pension plan.

Applicants should have excellent verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills; be able to work as part of a team or on an individual basis; have demonstrated leadership skills; and have high standards of ethics and integrity. Prior experience working with youth of different ages is not required but is highly preferred.
