Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing (Two-Year Appointment)

The AACSB-accredited Campbell School of Business at Berry College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing beginning August 2027. Rooted in Berry's mission of educating the head, heart, and hands, we seek a teacher-mentor-scholar who will help students apply marketing concepts and develop the knowledge, skills, and professional perspective to succeed and lead with integrity and purpose. Candidates with academic or professional experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, marketing communication, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.

The Campbell School is known for its close-knit community, emphasis on experiential learning, and integration of business education with Berry's broader mission. As a vital part of the curriculum, marketing offers opportunities for faculty to engage students in applied projects and professional development that strengthen leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate marketing courses such as Principles of Marketing, as well as possible courses in business statistics, business communication, or the MBA program, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The standard teaching load is 21 credit hours, typically seven courses, per year. There are also opportunities to teach undergraduate marketing electives aligned with the candidate's area of expertise. The successful candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm for mentoring students and creating meaningful learning experiences that integrate marketing theory with applied business practice.

Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or a related field, and candidates who are currently ABD should earn their doctoral degree by the date of employment.

Application Instructions:
Applicants should submit a letter of application describing the candidate's interest in this position and commitment to the Berry mission and values; a curriculum vitae; a teaching statement that should articulate the candidate's teaching approach, experience, and goals; complete teaching evaluations; unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts; and names and contact information of three references.
