Berry College invites applications for the Videographer / Photographer. The successful candidate will report, and assist the Director of Photography/Video to create high-quality video content that showcases our college's vibrant community, academic programs, events, and facilities. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and creative environment for both students and staff. We are currently seeking a talented and versatile Videographer / Photographer to join our team.

The Videographer will work with this role requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to tell compelling visual stories. While the primary focus will be on videography, the candidate should also be comfortable filling in as a still photographer when needed.

Requirements:

  • The candidate will plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for various college purposes, including promotional materials, social media content, event coverage, and academic projects on campus.
  • Operate and maintain video and photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in video and photography technology to ensure the college remains at the forefront of visual storytelling.
  • Support other departments with video and photography needs as required.

Qualifications: 

  •  Bachelor's degree in film, video production, photography, or a related field. Professional experience may replace degree requirements.
  •  Proven experience as a videographer and photographer, with a portfolio showcasing your work. Applications without a portfolio/reel will not be considered.
  •  Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  •  Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage.
  •  Knowledge of and experience with live streaming technology is a plus.
