Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Daycare Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for and educating children in a safe and supportive environment. You will implement age-appropriate activities, monitor the children’s well-being, and collaborate with the rest of our teaching team to ensure each child’s needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being.
• Build positive relationships with children and foster a nurturing environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behaviors, and any concerns.
• Observe and document children’s progress and development.
• Support children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and diapering (if applicable).
• Work with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped classroom.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and participate in ongoing professional development.
  Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
