Scope of Position: This position will work directly with and serve as the primary WinShape liaison to the Chick-fil-A PFS (“PFS”) team leader to successfully implement the financial vision established by the WinShape CFO and leadership team.  This position will establish, with PFS, the tactical steps necessary to implement the vision to establish Financial Services as a trusted business partner to WinShape ministries and support services.  In addition, this position will oversee all financial analysis of ministry and support services operations as well as potential new projects and ministry models.  This position will also directly manage all financial services staff at WinShape which includes payroll.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and sees through to completion tactical steps necessary to implement the WinShape financial vision and provides clear direction to the CFA PFS team to execute steps 
• Provide direction and oversight to ministry contacts (CFA) to enhance financial partnership throughout WinShape 
• Providing timely and meaningful financial insights to support CFO and WinShape leadership decision making 
• Assists in the identification of metrics and goals to measure success across all WinShape ministries 
• Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and effectiveness across WinShape ministries and support services 
• Leads a financial benchmarking process to understand how WinShape ministries compare to other ministries 
• Leads initiatives and trainings to increase business and financial acumen for WinShape employees 
• Oversees the financial analysis of proposed new strategic and capital projects 
• Plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of payroll team and provides coaching to other payroll related staff throughout the organization. 
• Prepares payroll reporting and insights for Foundation Leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly basis. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required 
• MBA preferred 
• Requires 7+ years of progressing finance and accounting experience with a strong emphasis on financial analysis  
• Combination of corporate and non-profit experience, preferred 
• Strong experience as a business partner to functional business operations 
• Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Possesses the ability to use discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information 
• Demonstrates moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
