SECOND GRADE TEACHER

The Berry College Elementary and Middle School is seeking to hire a second-grade teacher to join its supportive and collaborative faculty. The second-grade teacher will plan and collaborate with other classroom teachers, student teachers, and college instructors utilizing a constructivist model of theory and practice; implement a challenging curriculum with a focus on application and learning through discovery in a supportive and inclusive learning environment; supervise college student workers, student observers, and student teachers as part of the laboratory school setting; and communicate effectively with BCMES students and families, colleagues, and college students. This is a full-time, salaried position from August 1st to May 31st.

The Berry College Elementary and Middle School (BCEMS) is a private, tuition-based laboratory school under the governance of the Berry College Charter School of Education and Human Sciences. REQUIREMENTS:

The teacher candidate must have prior early childhood teaching experience and hold a current P-5 Georgia Teaching Certificate. A master's degree in education is preferred. To apply, click here.
