Our goal at Honeymoon Bakery is not only to create a pleasant environment for our customers, but also to ensure the happiness of our employees. We believe that teamwork is essential in creating a healthy and well-balanced workplace. The priorities of first customers and second bakery presentation, guide retail employees in accomplishing daily tasks. Our Supervisors are always available for guidance, but also seek to empower retail employees to prioritize and take initiative in planning and executing their individual responsibilities.

Serving our customers is the sole reason we exist. Being a local bakery we want each person to feel welcome and appreciated from the moment they walk through our doors to the moment they leave. Seeking to provide a friendly, pleasant and unique service is our goal; therefore, our customers are always first.

Tasks among retail staff include, but are not limited to:

• Working together as a team

• Greeting each customer as they enter and being available to them at all times

• Taking detailed and organized custom cake orders

• Cleaning windows, doors and cases

• New paper liners on trays

• Stocking - display case, gelato case, drink case

• Consolidating - in the case and walk- in cooler

• Closing procedures - make sure everything is done well before checking it off

• Clean Dining area & patio furniture

• Organized drink case - and check expiration dates

• Clean Drink Station - stock sugars and paper products

• Bathroom - it should be cleaned throughout the day

• Cabinets are wiped down and clean

• Floors and entry way are swept

• Everything is the case should be labeled (including cheesecakes)

• Make sure newly finished items are stocked in the case

• Straighten chairs and tables

• During the slow times make sure there is always something being done

• Paper products should be stocked at the end of each shift as needed.

• Dust base board ledges

• Wipe down the wall next to Coke machine as well as Coke machine

• Make sure coffee stays fresh and full

• Brownies should be pulled as needed
