The ReStore Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall success of the Habitat for Humanity Coosa Valley ReStore. This position oversees store operations, employees, volunteers, donations, inventory, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring the store operates efficiently, maintains a welcoming environment, and meets established sales goals.

The Store Manager plays an important role in supporting Habitat Coosa Valley's mission of building homes, communities, and hope by generating revenue to support affordable homeownership and home repair programs throughout Floyd, Chattooga, and Polk counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and support ReStore employees and volunteers.
• Recruit and encourage community volunteers.
• Develop merchandising strategies to maximize sales.
• Develop marketing and advertising strategy for the ReStore.
• Maintain attractive displays and promote special merchandise.
• Build positive relationships with donors, customers, and community partners.
• Oversee donation intake and ensure donated items meet store guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve donation volume and merchandise sales.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and register procedures.
• Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, thrift store, or management experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise employees and coordinate volunteers.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, including occasional heavy items, with or without reasonable accommodation.
