Principal Tasks

  1. Check and measure the progress of new parts, process change parts, engineering change parts, etc. based on the PPAP procedure.
  2. Control progress of production readiness, confirm parts and products evaluation results, and measure and evaluate parts and/or products.
  1. Based on the requirements from drawings and technical standards, perform quality control for mass-produced products, parts measurement evaluation and periodic data inspection from suppliers.
  1. Confirm that standards submitted by suppliers meet the drawing specifications.
  1. Perform receiving parts inspection.
  1. Evaluate and verify if the parts are in specified condition and meet the standards upon a request from production department.
  1. If parts do not meet the requirement,  notify supplier to take action to control quality.
  1. Work proactively with Production and/or Engineering Department on concerned items to resolve issues promptly.
  1. Conduct quality control activities for new products
  2. Conduct quality control activities, quality audits, and quality specification meetings with suppliers to establish mass production parts quality.
  3. Perform periodic calibration control for measuring instruments used.
  4. Evaluate products and parts using a variety of measuring instruments (CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, torque wrenches, hardness testers, screw gauges, etc.)
  5. Travel within U.S. and overseas  to conduct supplier quality control activities.
  6. Using the provided data and analysis results, create report, conduct meeting, and create and verify standard.  Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint shall be utilized.
  7. Adhere to company safety policies.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
