QA Manager Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Must be able to manage, develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Team Leadership: Must be able to lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective QC practices are followed.
• Test & Evaluate: Must be able to develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts (both manual and automated) to assess product quality and reliability.
• Data Analysis: Must be able to analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement to ensure continuous enhancement of quality processes.
• Collaboration: Must be able to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and marketing, to ensure standards are met throughout the product life cycle.
• Compliance & Audits: Must be able to conduct internal quality audits and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Budget Management: Must be able to manage the QA budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet quality objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field or a related discipline or two years of QA Mgr. work experience
• Proven experience and background in quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality metrics and implement improvements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate others.
• Familiarity with testing tools and software development processes.
• Familiarity with ISO, TQM and other quality control programs are a plus
