Part Time Bookkeeper
Location: Habitat For Humanity Coosa Valley
Hours: Part-time (approximately 10 hours per week)
Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Create journal entries and transfers when necessary
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices and track payments
- Support tax preparation and liaise with accountants with annual audit
- Assist with financial tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
