Position: Part-Time After School Care / Late Stay

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time position in a Montessori environment? Montessori School of Rome is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our After School Care (Late Stay) team. This is an excellent opportunity for college students pursuing education, psychology, child development, nursing, or related fields who are looking to gain valuable experience working with children in a positive and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable after-school environment.

- Build positive relationships with students while modeling kindness, respect, and professionalism.

- Follow established After School Care procedures and school policies.

- Ensure children are always accounted for and supervised appropriately.

- Assist with activities, games, homework support, and daily routines.

- Communicate professionally with parents, families, and staff members.

- Follow the direction of the After School Care Lead and work collaboratively with team members.

- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

- Support student safety by following emergency procedures and school protocols.

- Help ensure children are released only to authorized adults at dismissal.

- Participate in required training and professional development opportunities.

- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the After School Care program.
