Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Rome, GA

Schedule: 8–16 hours per week (flexible within clinic hours)

Haven Health Clinic of Rome is a Christ-centered, life-affirming nonprofit that provides a safe, judgment-free place for women, men, and teens to process an unexpected pregnancy and receive compassionate medical care. Our services include pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, STI screening and treatment, patient education, and pre/post-abortion support.

Role summary

The NP/PA serves scheduled clinic hours to provide excellent, patient-centered medical care that reflects Haven Health’s mission. You will have time to listen, educate, and support each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform limited OB ultrasounds (training provided), patient assessments, and follow-up care
• Provide STI testing, treatment, counseling, and referrals
• Deliver patient education on pregnancy, sexual health, and preventive care
• Chart accurately in the EMR; review labs and communicate results
• Participate in quality assurance, policy adherence, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Georgia license as NP or PA
• One year of clinical experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations considered)
• Comfortable with hands-on skills: exams, phlebotomy, injections
• Proficient with EMRs, email, and electronic lab workflows
• Warm, professional bedside manner with strong communication skills
