Job Summary
This position is responsible for directing the operations of the Paulding Instructional Site of Georgia Highlands College.
Responsibilities
• Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.
• Provides general campus oversight and support for GHC departments, faculty, staff, and students at the Paulding Instructional Site.
• Oversees scheduling of campus spaces and classrooms and office space assignments
• Provides logistical oversight and support for all campus events both internal and external.
• Responsible for providing timely communication updates to campus members
• Plays major role in local community engagement efforts to increase visibility of GHC in the community and build partnerships with local industry and K-12 partners
• Serves as liaison to academic deans/division chairs regarding academic matters;
• Provides advisement, registration, and matriculation assistance to students
• Serves as active member of key institutional councils and committees
• Participates in the development and implementation of the college's strategic plan
• Participates in student recruitment activities
• Prepares and maintain campus budgets
• Works to ensure an engaging campus culture for all faculty, staff, and students.
• Provides ongoing assessment of campus amenities and space needs and ensures any needed updates are met in a timely and strategic manner.
• Produces annual and special report to ascertain and monitor campus enrollment trends and needs
• Direct supervisor for Paulding Campus Support Assistant
• Performs related duties
Required Qualifications
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a Bachelor's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
• Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the subunits in the division/department in order to direct and coordinate work within the division/department, usually interpreted to require three to five years of related experience
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operates
Proposed Salary
The salary for this position is $50,000.
This is a fully benefitted position and is a Position of Trust.
Driving for the college is required.
This position has direct supervision for Campus Support Assistant.
