This position is responsible for working with the Maintenance Supervisor in the repair and maintenance of Water Treatment Facility equipment, buildings, pumping stations, lagoon equipment, and grounds.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Must obtain a GAWP Class III Maintenance Technologist Certification within twelve months of employment.
- Must be able to comprehend service manuals, technical diagrams, and blue prints.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License in the state of residency.
- Must already possess or obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100 and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
- This position is a maintenance position, who will be responsible to personally perform maintenance related tasks.
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
