Legal Assistant/Paralegal

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an exceptionally organized and proactive Legal Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a partner whose practice focuses on estate planning, tax law, and complex corporate structuring. - Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, engagement letters, and estate planning instruments

- Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, CPAs, financial advisors, and court personnel on behalf of the partner

- Manage and track deadlines, filings, and follow-up items across active matters using the firm's practice management system

- Prepare meeting materials, agenda packets, and closing binders for client meetings and transactions

- Process expense reports, check requests, and billing entries in coordination with the firm's accounting team

- Handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion

- Support light research and document organization on estate plans, corporate structures, and real estate matters

- Assist with drafting and sending client communications, reminders, and firm correspondence

- Experience with legal practice management software (CARET Legal, Clio, or similar)

- Knowledge of corporate entity documentation and real estate closing processes

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate

- Notary public commission, or willingness to obtain one
