Qualifications

- Able to be on your feet for 4-8 hours

- Must be able to read, write and speak English in a clear understandable voice

- Knowledge of food service standards

-1-2 years restaurant experience preferred

- Able to maintain fast, high quality speed of service

- Willing to work a flexible schedule

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Dependable, punctual, and honest

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds or more

Responsibilities

- Primary duties include providing excellent guest service and ensuring quality product, safety, and health department compliance.

- Demonstrate ability to safely prepare all prepped foods and menu items by following company procedures, recipes, menu specifications and complete final plate check to ensure proper presentation

- Follow appropriate menu specifications and adhere to productivity standards

- Ensure proper storage and labeling of items

- Assists with maintaining food storage/cooling/freezing area for maximum efficiency of storage space

- Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures

- Learn prep procedures for menu items involving food allergens

- Communicate professionally and openly with all team members

- Assist with maintaining an efficient and productive kitchen team

- Keep management aware of kitchen equipment issues

- Assists with the completion of daily logs performed

- Assists with monitoring inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments.

- Assist with opening and closing duties

- Assist with the organization of the kitchen

- Maintain a work environment that promotes safety, security, and cleanliness
- Follow established company procedures and comply with applicable laws and health department requirements
