Position Purpose

The Human Resources Generalist will consistently and proactively work to maximize the value of Summit Hill Foods through continuous improvement, driving EVA growth, and being a champion of the HPWP culture. The HR Generalist performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Employee relations, recruiting, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, employment practices, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This position proactively supports all company needs.  

Position Responsibilities & Duties

Promotes and supports the development of a high performance workforce through effective staffing

Assists in administering benefits & compensation programs/performance management systems, performance reviews, collect/analyze compensation information, perform job analyses/evaluations and provide consulation/analytical support to management

Identify development opportunities and establish training plans to continually raise organizational capabilities and foster a high-performance culture

Mange employee services and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience as as Human Resource professional

Bachelor's degree in HR Management of related field preferred

Ability to organize and prioritize work and organize

Highly refined planning, organizing, problem solving and communication skills

Exceptional interpersonal, written and communication skills

Broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures

Ability to handle complex tasks and to provide experience guidance to others

Broad range of computer and company software programs and applications

Mut have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems/issues, by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation and employment law

Some travel may be required

Work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office with flexibility to work at home on Monday and Friday
