GRADUATE ASSISTANT - MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

GRADUATE ASSISTANT - MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

The Center for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD) at Berry College seeks applications for a graduate assistant who can create, facilitate, and lead student-facing marketing and communication initiatives for our department. We expect this person to lead a team of student employees to execute CPPD's marketing strategies, create a suite of marketing assets (e.g., posters, graphics, videos, etc), and manage CPPD communication channels (e.g., weekly student newsletter, website, social media @Berry CPPD).

The CPPD supports the college's mission and commitment to prepare the whole student for all of life in two primary ways: First, we offer all students 8 semesters of personal and professional development experience through LifeWorks, our incredible and distinctive student work program. In LifeWorks, students gain essential professional experiences and skill sets that set them up for lifelong success. Second, we leverage our campus-wide Career Development Network to meet students wherever they are in their personal and professional journey and help them learn to navigate their next steps towards a meaningful future career. In the CPPD, staff from the LifeWorks program and Career Development Network work closely together to create a more seamless college ecosystem that supports Berry students as they develop a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and creativity as they explore and pursue purposeful life and career goals.

Graduate assistants receive an hourly wage in addition to tuition remission for Berry's MBA program. Preferred candidates will be experienced and attentive to trends within marketing, social media, and graphic design tools. This person must also be willing to contribute to Berry's commitment to fostering belonging in the context of diversity across the college (https://www.berry.edu/belonging/) To apply, click here.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree is required, ideally in a related field. If applicants have a degree in another field, sufficient professional experience with marketing, communications, and graphic design would also be considered. Experience with social media marketing, leading teams, and working with college students is preferred, but not required. All interested parties can apply, but please note: applicants must be accepted into Berry's MBA program before a formal job offer may be extended/accepted.
