Compensation: $38,000 annually + year-end performance bonus (percentage based on 

funds raised)

Reports to: Executive Director

Position Overview

The Fundraising & Grants Coordinator is responsible for securing the financial resources 

necessary to support our organization’s mission. This role will focus on identifying, 

applying for, and acquiring grants; planning and executing fundraising campaigns and 

events; managing donor relations; and overseeing organizational purchasing needs. The 

ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and motivated by measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Writing & Management

o Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals.

o Write, submit, and manage grant applications and required reporting.

o Track deadlines and maintain compliance with grant requirements.

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

o Develop and implement fundraising strategies (campaigns, events, digital 

fundraising).

o Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community 

partners.

o Maintain donor database and ensure accurate reporting.

Event Planning

o Organize and coordinate fundraising events (logistics, promotion, 

sponsorships).

o Manage volunteers and staff support for events.

• Financial & Administrative Support

o Manage organizational debit card and oversee purchases as needed.

o Track expenses related to fundraising and events.

o Ensure transparent and accurate financial documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or development preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable managing budgets, deadlines, and multiple projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $38,000 annually.

• Year-end performance bonus based on a percentage of funds raised.
