Facilities Manager
The Floyd County Baptist Association(FCBA) is looking for a Facilities Manager. This is a part time position Monday, Tuesday & Thursday for 5 hours per day. The pay will be $15 per hour. The principal function of this position is to be responsible to the Director of Missions(DOM) for directing the maintenance and cleaning of the building and care of all outside grounds. The responsibilities include overseeing and performing maintenance/repairs of the association building, equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and property, or acting as the association's representative with outside contractors and inspectors coming onto the property or into the building. This person will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc. the floors; cleaning offices, removing trash, cleaning the bathrooms; and dusting and polishing the furniture. This person will also be responsible for setting up and taking down chairs and tables for events, and for keeping the building and grounds clean. This position will ensure that all publicly accessible areas are clean and ready for use. They will make minor repairs, change light bulbs, vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors, sanitize surfaces, and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. The groundskeeping duties include: lawn mowing/trimming, and clearing grounds of trash.
