The Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and community-minded Executive Director to help guide and strengthen the arts throughout Rome and Floyd County, Georgia.

This part-time leadership position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside local artists, community leaders, educators, donors, volunteers, and arts organizations to expand access to arts and cultural opportunities while helping shape the future of RACA. The position features a flexible schedule with reduced hours during the summer months and increased activity during programming, fundraising, and community events.

The ideal candidate is an energetic and entrepreneurial leader who values creativity, collaboration, and community impact. Candidates must reside in, or be willing to establish residency in, Rome or Floyd County, Georgia.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a Search Committee appointed by the RACA Board of Directors. Selected candidates may be invited to participate in interviews and provide additional information as part of the evaluation process.
