Job Summary:
Brother’s Place is a 12-bed men’s residential program designed to bridge the gap between crisis sheltering and independent living. In serving our community through supportive housing, our goal is to see men live productive, independent and sober-minded. The mission of Brother’s Place is to Empower, Equip and Enrich the lives of men through the love of Christ.
The Board of Directors of Brother’s Place is currently accepting resumes for the Executive Director position. We are seeking an individual who is able to implement programs, build meaningful relationships in the community and support men in navigating life challenges successfully. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, and administration of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Proposes, plans, implements, and maintains housing program and related service strategies.
- Strategic Compliance: Accountable for the fulfillment of the agency's strategic plan and contract compliance regarding the housing program.
- Staff Coordination: Conducts and coordinates hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of staff.
- Budget Management: Works closely with senior leadership to develop and manage the budget.
- Policy Implementation: Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and practice norms.
- On-Call Coverage: Provides routine on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in rotation with other direct service staff.
- Documentation: Maintains all required documentation in accordance with agency policy, procedure, and contractual mandates.
- Confidentiality: Maintains absolute confidentiality of information, written or verbal, according to policy and legal requirements.
- Residential Environment: Ensures a safe, supportive environment and positive community interactions in a congregate residential setting.
- Service Standards: Assures that all services provided by staff and volunteers meet required standards.
- Attendance: Maintains consistent, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Mission Support: Fully supports the organization's mission.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Ability: Ability to manage and lead a team from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Nonprofit Experience: Experience working within the nonprofit sector.
Salary & Benefits:
The Executive Director salary will range depending on experience and will be outlined in the contract for employment. All employees are subject to the policies found in Brother’s Place Policies & Procedures. Brother’s Place is an equal opportunity employer.
