Northwest Georgia Housing Authority (NWGHA) is seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to the CEO and COO. This key role serves as the central coordination point for executive operations, Board of Commissioners support, executive communications, meeting coordination, special projects, and confidential administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, schedules, meetings, travel, and correspondence.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, meeting materials, and executive communications.
  • Coordinate Board of Commissioners meetings, agendas, packets, and follow-up actions.
  • Track executive priorities, deadlines, projects, and assignments.
  • Assist with agency-wide initiatives, strategic projects, community events, and special events.
  • Maintain confidential records and information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, staff, board members, residents, community partners, and governmental agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible executive assistant, administrative, or office management experience.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, governing boards, or public-sector organizations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Availability for occasional overnight travel.
  • Fair Housing & Reasonable Accommodation certification required within one year of employment.
