Walker Orthotics and Prosthetics is a locally owned O&P clinic seeking a part-time Documentation Specialist for our front office.  This position maintains contact with our referral partners to obtain necessary documentation that supports the orthotic and prosthetic devices we provide to patients.  This position also serves to “back up” the Front Desk position by answering the phone, greeting patients, and contacting insurance companies to verify patient benefits.  Patience and organizational skills are essential components of this position.  


We foster a positive work environment and seek to provide the same experience for all of our patients.  We are seeking someone with a positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor that wants to be part of a meaningful line of work.  The position would involve 20-25 hours of work each week and could evolve into a full-time position.  Medical office experience is extremely helpful but we are a unique provider in a specialized industry and on-the-job training is available.  The results are very rewarding.
