Community and Economic Development Representative
The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Community and Economic Development Representative in the Planning, Community and Economic Development Department.
The ideal candidate will combine project management and teamwork skills with good communication and organizational skills and will demonstrate integrity and dedication to the work and to the communities of Northwest Georgia.
This is an on-site, in-office position, with frequent project meetings and site visits within Northwest Georgia and occasional attendance at state conferences and trainings.
This position is responsible for preparing and implementing a range of community and economic development projects for local governments in the region.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a Bachelors degree in a course of study related to the occupation field.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually interpreted to require two to three years of related experience, or combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia.
Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000 based on qualifications.
Job Type: Full Time; Schedule: 8 hours Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm with travel and occasional evening meetings.
