The Berry College Health Center seeks a Clinical Provider within the Department of Health Services to serve students in providing high-quality health care and education. The provider will be a campus leader in promoting student health initiatives, engaging students to make informed decisions about health-related concerns, and empowering students to be self-directed consumers of health care. The provider will assess patients, create and implement a plan of care, evaluate results, and adjust care plans according to their scope of practice.
The Clinical Provider is a full-time position (10-months) within the Division of Student Affairs, reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of Health Services, and works under the guidance of the Medical Director, the supervising physician. The clinician will provide high-quality, evidence-based healthcare services to Berry College students. This role includes direct patient care, health education, and promoting health programs to promote wellness and manage acute and chronic conditions across the population. This position is responsible for responding to local and college health trends and collaborating with the Director and Assistant Director to provide health education, advocacy, and prevention programs for students. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, be highly collaborative, contribute to a culture of belonging and inclusiveness, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have strong leadership and mentoring abilities.



Requirements:

1. Doctorate or master's degree in nursing, FNP preferred, from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an APRN and recognized by the Board as a nurse practitioner; or ability to obtain upon hire. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required. College Health experience is preferred. This position includes competitive benefits and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree in nursing, from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as a registered nurse and recognized by the Board as a registered nurse; or ability to obtain upon hire. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required. College Health experience is preferred. This position includes competitive benefits and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
