Scope of Position:  The Campus Patrol, Safety and Security, will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring WinShape managed and operated buildings and grounds on the mountain campus of Berry College.

Responsibilities

• Creates a serving, welcoming, and relationally safe environment for all that interact with Workplace and Property Services  
• Coordinates with Berry College Campus Security to perform scheduled campus patrol by foot and golf cart 
• Monitors appropriate use of signage, access control, bollards and virtual presence 
• Ensures spaces are free of non-registered guest as per the WinShape Daily Function Sheet 
• Maintains subject matter knowledge of WinShape Emergency Action Plan, CPR/AED/First Aid, and incident reporting procedures through required training and annual simulations  
• Appropriately escalates and manage emergency situations as required 
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, Safety and Security 

Qualifications

• High school diploma and equivalent work experience 
• Requires 3-5 years of related work experience 
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required 
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 
• Ability to communicate with clarity and simplicity 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors 
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as business needs require
