Job Title: Branch Manager
Reports to: Deposit and Retail Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Branch Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by managing the daily operations of the retail team, driving branch growth through deposit and consumer lending activities, and creating operational efficiencies while balancing exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead and manage the overall deposit and lobby operations of the branch, including supervising daily branch staff
- Drive business developments efforts to grow the branch by generating new relationships and actively cross-selling products and services to enhance customer relationships
- Conduct consumer lending activities including completing loan applications and/or supporting Relationship Managers on other consumer lending functions
- Conduct deposit and retail functions to include customer service, researching and resolving complex customers escalations and requests, opening accounts, and operating a teller station during peak times or staffing shortages. Also includes daily oversight of reports, ATM, balancing, audit procedures, etc.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with all banking regulations
- Motivate, train, and coach employees to meet branch goals; conduct branch meetings
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and community involvement
- Stay abreast of training and regulations related to consumer lending, deposits, security, and branch operations
- Comply with all department and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years’ banking experience in a retail environment with supervisory functions preferred
- Consumer lending experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer programs, phone apps, web programs, etc. required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check
- NMLS registration will be necessary; compliance with NMLS registration and renewal requirements required
- Highschool diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
