Job Summary


Looking for a motivated student assistant basketball coach with strong communication and leadership abilities with a passion for helping student-athletes improve both on and off the court


Responsibilities


' Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies


' Assist coaching staff with practice planning, skill development, and weights


' Assist with film software and scouting reports


' Assist with organizing community service events


' Support game-day operations, including equipment setup


' Encourage teamwork, communication, and positive sportsmanship


' Help monitor class attendance and study hall sessions


' Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications


' Currently enrolled as a GHC student in good academic standing

' Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, while currently in a course of study related to the occupational field

' Interest or experience in photography, social media, or sports broadcasting

' Must be available to work evening/weekend hours during home games


Proposed Salary


$12.00 per hour

Knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules, and game strategies


Strong written and verbal communication skills


Understands practice organization and team management


Professional, reliable, proactive, creative, and detail-oriented
