Aging and Disability Resource Connection Counselor

The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging is seeking a qualified candidate for the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Counselor position.  The ADRC Counselor duties include handling Information and Referral/Assistance Calls, Options Counseling and eligibility screening for Aging Services and all appropriate data entry.  Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, human services or Nursing, or a Bachelor’s Degree in another field plus two years’ experience in a related field. 

There is a possibility that this position will transition to traveling throughout the 15-county region for approximately 80% of the workweek (duties and pay rate will be adjusted accordingly to these additional responsibilities).
