JOB SUMMARY:
To provide administrative support to the Downtown Development and Parking Services Office. This position will coordinate the clerical functions of the department, interact with the public, and be perform special projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Professional level of confidentiality in handling information.
Knowledge of clerical bookkeeping principles and practices
Skill in customer service.
Skill in oral and written communications.
Skill in operating computers and other office equipment.
Skill in planning and organizing work.
Skill in dealing tactfully with the public.
Skill in reports and accurate record keeping.
Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
Ability to perform detailed work with numerical data accurately.
Ability to get along well with diverse personalities-tactful-mature-flexible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative or clerical position.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from state of residency.
- Must obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100 and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
