ABOUT THE JOB

This position is based at our US- headquarters located in Rome, GA.  The Production Supervisor is responsible for daily management of employees and production on their respective shift.  They must meet production, quality, and safety needs set by management.  The Supervisor will support operational goals by managing employees and organizing the workflow.


PAY AND BENEFITS

▪ Monday - Friday 4PM - Midnight

▪ $24 - $30 per hour; depending on skills and experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability.
  • Performing periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail.
  • Maintaining operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and systems, including various rotating equipment, plant utility systems, and manufacturing process
  • Troubleshoots electrical problems and testing on electrical wiring and component.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics - pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical.
  • Perform minor facility repairs to include plumbing and lighting.
  • Welding and fabrication at a repair level.
  • Able to measure products using micrometers and calipers.
  • Maintains and completes all required records.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Three (3) years of experience working in an electrical/mechanical maintenance position within a manufacturing, industrial or military structure.
  • Talent in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint/electrical drawings.
  • Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings, pumps, and lubrication.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical components within the manufacturing plant.
  • Experience operating electrical test equipment inherent to the job.
  • Must be able to operate a motorized forklift and scissor lift.
  • Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals.
  • Adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to climb, push, pull, crouch, crawl, bend on a regular basis.
  • Able to stand for at least four (4) hours without resting.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Able to push or pull carts and or pallet jacks.
  • Able to bend and or stoop to the floor.
  • Exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Climate controlled facility
