What is your/your family's why for running your business?
We are a family owned business providing farm fresh meats and meals to our community. We are also working alongside the Community Kitchen, Rome’s Free Clinic and disaster relief efforts in NC and TN.
Tell us a little about your yourself, your family(if a family business)or work family:
Dawn grew up on a farm, received a BS in Agriculture from Berry College, and married a local hard-working Armuchee guy. We have a farm in Subligna, Summerville, GA. We have pasture-raised cattle and hogs that only get non-gmo feed. We also process our own animals at our processing plant, Wright's Meat Processing. Our processing facility is a USDA specialty plant. We love raising animals and providing quality products to our community. We have 2 sons who help us in our businesses. Will runs the Market in Rome and John runs the Processing Plant in Subligna
Why do you choose Floyd County for yourself/family and your business?
Richard grew up in Armuchee and Dawn attended Berry College. We love this area because of the great people here.
