Join Alton Holman Heritage Arts and local community members at the Rolater Regatta Cardboard Boat Race on September 7, 2024! People of all ages are invited to participate in this fun-filled event that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the joy of friendly competition. Whether you're building your own cardboard boat or cheering from the sidelines, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss the chance to witness imaginative boat designs, hilarious racing antics, and a wonderful day of community spirit. The event will take place at Rolater Park, with registration beginning at 10 AM and races starting shortly after. Registration is $25 for student teams per boat, and $35 for adult teams (19+) per boat. Funds raised will be used to support Alton Holman Heritage Arts, Inc.'s mission to preserve traditional art styles through educational arts programs for children and young adults.
