Founded in 1905, Darlington School is an independent day and boarding school located in Rome, GA. The school enrolls day students in pre-K through grade 12 and boarding students in grades 9-12. Stretching for 500 acres, our beautiful campus is located in Rome, Ga., a community of 36,000 that is an hour-and-a-half from both Atlanta and Chattanooga. Darlington currently enrolls approximately 800 students and maintains a student to faculty ratio of 9:1. More than 40% of faculty and staff members live on campus. All teaching faculty members hold bachelor’s degrees, and more than half have advanced degrees.
