One of the most beloved theatrical works ever written, Pirates of Penzance blurs the line between Music Theater and Opera. Pirates is Gilbert and Sullivan at their farcical finest. Combining a beautiful musical score and brilliant story and lyric writing, this masterpiece has stood the test of time and is just as funny and magnificent today as it was 140 years ago when it was written. The Rome Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to be partnering with the Rome Shakespeare Festival and their phenomenal actors and singers from throughout the region and the country to bring this fully staged production to life.
