Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will be primarily responsible for efficiently operating the patient reception area and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for Haven Health Clinic. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with people and abide by HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
 
Duties shall include, but are not limited to:
• Answer multi-line phone system, providing high-quality customer service
• Respond to patients who call, walk in, email, or submit online scheduling forms
• Greet patients as they arrive, ensuring all intake forms are completed in compliance with policies and procedures; manage patient check-out
• Closely follow HIPPA policies and confidentiality practices with a high level of integrity
• Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to schedule, reschedule, and remind patients of appointments via phone and text
• Use CRM software to record client communications, update schedule reports and track success metrics
• Chart assembly and organization
• Ensure the office is appropriately stocked

• Light office cleaning
• Administrative duties related directly to the clinic's operations as assigned by the Executive Director

 
Qualifications:
• Be a committed Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is comfortable sharing their faith with others; active membership and participation in a local church
• Believes in the sanctity of life, marriage, and sexual integrity
• Passionate about carrying out the organization’s mission and vision
• Agrees with the organization’s statement of faith and code of conduct
• Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Medical office experience preferred
• Comfortable working in an environment with several competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a pleasant phone manner are a must
•Strong customer service ethic, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with diverse personalities within a team environment
 Ability to understand instructions and work independently to complete tasks as assigned 
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel
