Development Coordinator Position Summary

This position is responsible for all activities related to creating opportunities for fundraising and donor relations for LPR and Next Door as well as the LPR volunteer program. Duties also include representing LPR/Next Door and making presentations about the organization and recovery support services in the community. This position works closely with and is under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Continuously create opportunities for the community and LPR/Next Door to partner

· Lead the development of additional donor relationships and grant opportunities

· Oversee fundraising activities, including the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising events, development, growth, and management of the Fundraising committee

· Manage all in-kind donations

· Manage all aspects of the volunteer program

· Administrative duties include, but are not limited to: email/phone communications, data entry, maintaining accurate records

· Work closely with Operations to maintain accurate, detailed financial records for all contributions and financial records required by grant providers, IRS, etc.

· Provide reports for Board meetings as needed

· Assist with LPR events

· Create and distribute a meaningful monthly newsletter for LPR

· Attend community events as a representative of LPR/Next Door as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Knowledge and experience in donor management and fundraising preferred. 

· Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, demonstrate sound judgment, be flexible, self-driven and motivated

· Commitment to and passion for our agency’s mission and knowledge of the recovery language

· Two+ years in recovery

· Valid driver’s license

Skills

· Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills

· Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web browser software

· Ability to maintain productivity and documentation standards

· Knowledge in engaging others to invest financially or partner in small events

· Ability to maintain a professional demeanor

· Efficiency in multitasking and delegation
