Medical Assistant

Busy medical practice seeking full time Medical Assistant.  Job entails working closely with patients and providers, taking medical histories, vital signs, scheduling tests, and appointments, working with electronic health records, obtaining precertification for procedures, and washing and sterilizing instruments. 

Must have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Must be professional in appearance and be a team player.  Must have a strong work ethic, as we are a small medical practice, and every employee is vital to the day running smoothly.  Must be able to cross train.  High school diploma required.

We are located in Rome.  Must have reliable transportation, childcare if needed, and be able to be at work on time.  Required background check and drug screening.  We are a certified drug-free work facility.

Monday/Wednesday    6:45-5:00
Tuesday/Thursday       7:45-4:00
Friday                           6:45-12:00
