Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule.

Required Qualifications

­• 3 Years Experience in the areas of planning, scheduling, procurement and/or logistics
­• Prior responsibility/experience of direct customer contact / relationship
­• Evidence of part number (DC) and inventory control experience and understanding
•­ Evidence of analytical skills, improvement planning and countermeasure implementation
­• Advanced Excel Skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
• Well organized and strong attention to detail.

Major Duties

The associate selected for this position will be responsible for the following:
• Plan, submit and monitor releases to assigned suppliers
• Coordinate inbound deliveries as required
• Validate releases to customer requirements to ensure accuracy
• Monitor supplier part receipts and confirm against expected receipts
• Flag any flow concerns and address with suppliers on short and long term basis.
• Escalate unsatisfactory supplier responses to ensure no production impact
• Provide supplier support as FPG window associate / resolve all concerns
• Insure accurate weekly production schedules based on customer requirements for all processing departments.
• Monitor all customer orders and forecasts.
• Monitor component part days-on-hand inventories for assigned suppliers
• Validate lineside inventory levels with direct investigation and physical counts
• Calculate actual vs plan accounting for WIP, F/G, Shipments +/-, Production +/-
• Investigate inappropriate levels (low/high) and investigate causes
• Develop short/long term countermeasures to inventory level concerns
• Implement improvements to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
• Maintain engineering database (BOM’s, design changes, etc.…)
• Responsible for monitoring inventory, troubleshooting and notifying Materials Services of any discrepancies, so that corrections are made as needed.
