Detail Operations Manager

We are looking for a Detail Operations Supervisor!

The purpose of this classification is to coordinate inmate work details and to conduct annual inventory and infrastructure inspections for the County.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between the County and detention facility. 
• Coordinates daily work activities of assigned inmates; assesses inmate skills and abilities.
• Ensures security of inmates on work details.
• Trains and instructs County employees regarding operational procedures, correctional facility rules and regulations and proper use of equipment; oversees inmate driver program.
• Inspects County infrastructure and assets; conducts field inspections of roads, detention ponds, and other County infrastructure and assets; maintains related documentation.
• Receives various forms, reports, correspondence, criminal history reports, parole and release    information, disciplinary reports.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience in corrections, public works, inmate work detail supervision; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) including appropriate endorsement(s).
• Must possess and maintain certification as a Basic Correctional Officer.
