Machine Tool/Die Repair Adjunct Instructor Part-Time

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Machine Tool/Die Repair adjunct instructor. This adjunct (part time) position is for evening instruction on the Floyd County Campus. In addition, the successful applicant will advise students in the Machine Tool Technology program and participate in institutional activities.

Required Qualifications: Associate degree or diploma in Machine Tool, or specialized/related training with an emphasis on demonstrated competencies and achievements. Three years paid work experience in Tool and Die repair within the past seven years. Work experience must include the competencies, skills and knowledge levels included in the Machine Tool instructional program.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Certified Mastercam Instructor and Post-Secondary Teaching experience, curriculum development, and program recruitment experience in a two-year college environment. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.
