Reference Analyst/Customer Service Representative
PSI Background Screening is a growing pre-employment screening company seeking Background Investigator/Reference Analysts for our Rome, Georgia office. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to conduct pre-employment screening in a professional, fast paced office environment. This is NOT a private investigator position. Duties
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality of information obtained in the process of verifying employment, talking with social/professional references and conducting education verifications.
- Corresponding professionally with applicants, clients and co-workers via telephone, e-mail and the use of various websites for verification purposes.
- Calling on employment, social and neighbor references for pre-employment screening applicants being processed on behalf of PSI’s clients.
- Performing education verifications for pre-employment screening applicants being processed on behalf of PSI’s clients.
- Answering incoming calls and directing caller to appropriate team member for assistance or handling their call if appropriate.
- Providing excellent customer service to all callers which may include applicants, respondents for references, clients and potential clients as well as vendors.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Skilled in customer service and proper phone etiquette
- Telephone skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Start at $17.25, raise to $17.75 after 60 days
